About the Project

Green Logistics Lab: Sustainable and Digital Mobility for Future Transport Professionals is an international educational mobility project bringing together students and academic staff from Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine.

The project aims to develop students’ practical competences in sustainable logistics, digital transport technologies and road transport management. It combines specialised training, transport simulation, professional study visits, intercultural exchange and cooperation between higher education institutions.

The project involves 15 students aged 18–25 and six accompanying academic staff members representing study programmes in logistics, road transport, freight forwarding and automobile transport.

Project Activities

The programme includes:

  • transport-flow modelling and simulation using PTV Vissim;

  • training in the use of smart tachographs and TAGRA software;

  • discussion of sustainable logistics and digital mobility solutions;

  • exchange of experience in teaching transport and logistics disciplines;

  • a round-table discussion on cooperation between higher education institutions;

  • professional study visits to transport, logistics and manufacturing companies;

  • cultural and intercultural activities;

  • joint presentation and public dissemination of the project results.

International Academy of Applied Sciences in Łomża — Poland

The International Academy of Applied Sciences in Łomża hosts the joint mobility programme, coordinates local organisational activities and contributes expertise in logistics education. The Academy also facilitates professional visits, academic discussions and cultural activities in Poland.

University of Žilina — Slovakia

The University of Žilina contributes expertise in road transport, freight forwarding and digital transport management. Its representatives provide practical training related to smart tachographs, driver cards, transport records and TAGRA software.

Cherkasy State Technological University contributes expertise in automobile transport, intelligent transport systems and computer simulation. Its representatives provide practical training in transport-flow modelling using PTV Vissim.

Project Events

1. Inbound Travel of the Ukrainian Group to Poland

Dates: 3–4 October 2026

Route: Cherkasy, Ukraine – Łomża, Poland

Type: Inbound mobility travel

A group of five Ukrainian students and two academic mentors will travel from Cherkasy to Łomża to participate in the joint international mobility programme.

2. Mobility Programme of the Joint University Group in Poland

Dates: 4–10 October 2026

Main venue: Łomża, Poland

Additional locations: Ostrołęka and Siemiatycze, Poland

Students and academic staff from Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine will participate in a joint educational programme focused on sustainable logistics and digital transport technologies.

The programme will combine lectures, workshops, practical training, academic discussions and professional study visits. Planned visits include transport, logistics and manufacturing enterprises such as TARGOR-TRUCK, Pronar and the TMT logistics warehouse. The programme will also include cultural activities and a visit to the North Mazovian Museum in Łomża.

The participants will present and discuss the knowledge and practical experience acquired during the programme and explore opportunities for further cooperation between the partner institutions.

3. Return Travel of the Ukrainian Group from Poland

Dates: 10–11 October 2026

Route: Łomża, Poland – Cherkasy, Ukraine

Type: Return mobility travel

Following the completion of the joint programme, the Ukrainian group will return from Łomża to Cherkasy.
